Setup the VPN connection using the instructions given above
NOTE: This must be done OFF CAMPUS.
Connect to the VPN
Open a PowerShell command prompt
Type the command route print -n | select-string 10.105.255
Type the command tracert -d 10.216.217.252
Type your full name followed by the date
Take a screen shot of the result and submit it to the class web site ( Example )
Connecting with the VPN will allow you direct access to the classroom network. With this you can access your server directly with RDP if you wish. It will also allow you to access the Power Distrubution Unit (PDU) so that you can remotely reset your server if needed.
